I could sell my house fast and avoid being evicted
Mortgage repossessions are the nightmare of every homeowner yet each year thousands are evicted from their homes after falling behind on their mortgage. If you get into mortgage arrears that you cannot pay back the lender will take you to court and seek repossession. If the judge rules with the lender you would be given a date for eviction and have to leave on or before this date.
One way I could avoid eviction would be if I could sell my house. If I wanted to make a sale and still remain in the property then one option open to me would be to look into a sale and rent back agreement. A regulated company may pay cash for the home and then offer me the chance to remain in it by paying monthly rent for the fixed period.
If I needed help to stop a court order the company may be able to provide me with it which would give time for the sale to go through. This is one option that may be worth considering but it is not the only one and it may not be the most suitable. You do have to weigh up the pros and cons before signing your home over.
