I am facing repossession what are my options?

I am faced with mounting mortgage arrears so what are my options? This is a question that is on the minds of thousands of homeowners in the UK each year. If I were faced with arrears that I could not pay then I would consider the option of being able to sell my home and rent it back through a sale and rent back agreement. At the same time I would also consider all other options as this may not be the most suitable.

By choosing a sale and rent back agreement I would be able to stop on in my home as the tenant by paying rent for a fixed period time. I would be able to sell my home to a regulated company, and they may provide me with information on how to stop repossession giving time for the sale to go through.

When considering a sale and rent back I would have to weight up the fact that I would not get 100% of the full value of the property against the fact that a sale would come with no fees.
